Onyx is believed to be a protector from evil. It protects harmonious relationships. Some believe it is advantageous to carry onyx when traveling. Also, it is believed onyx is useful in fighting basic fears and helping to move beyond bad relationships as well as to help heal old emotional wounds.

This faceted onyx is about 1" square and wrapped in sterling silver gallery wire. The textured backplate is about 1.25" square and includes a variety of sterling silver accents. It hangs from an 18" sterling silver rolo chain.
