Sandstone is often seen as a stone of creativity, fostering and fortifying the bonds of relationships. The fossilized sandstone I worked with resembled what I envisioned as stalks of wheat dancing in the wind. Inspired by this, I crafted a representation of wheat from sterling silver and embellished the sandstone slice with it. The pendant measures slightly over 1.5 inches in height and 1.25 inches in width, suspended from an 18-inch sterling silver rolo chain.
