Coin pearls are flat-shaped cultured pearls that can be worn casually during the day and add a touch of individual glamour to the evening.  They are formed by the pearl farmer inserting a flat round nucleus into the mussel to help it form the shape of the coin pearl.

The pearl symbolizes wisdom gained through experience. It is believed by some that pearls will help you learn the lessons with every life experience, and that it will make you wiser and stronger for it.

This 1/2" round coin pearl is wrapped in a beautiful sterling silver gallery wire and framed in a simple silver ribbon.  It hangs from an 18" sterling silver rolo chain.
